Vernissage & Film Screening: Enamorada
Film@绿巨人视频 is delighted to screen the Mexican classic Enamorada (Emilio Fern谩ndez, 1946), which accompanies the poster exhibition Una Mujer Nada Cualquiera - Mar铆a F茅lix: The Making of a Star Image in Mexican Cinema in Monttessuy Center for the Arts.
Join us for the opening of the exhibition on Wednesday, March 25.

Enamorada, directed by Emilio Fern谩ndez and starring Mar铆a F茅lix, is a recently restored classic of Mexican cinema and a loose adaptation of William Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew. During the Mexican Revolution, a macho rebel general falls in love with the independent-minded daughter of an aristocrat in the town he is occupying.
The exhibition brings together a selection of posters dedicated to Mar铆a F茅lix, drawn from the collection of Dwight Cleveland, one of the most significant private archives of film posters ever assembled. The presentation offers a focused insight into both the graphic culture of cinema and the enduring image of one of its most emblematic stars. The exhibition runs in the foyer of the Monttessuy building until April 17.
