ARC-link Peer TUTORS鈥
While the Writing Lab tutors help you improve your writing across the curriculum, our ARC-Link tutors specialize in selected subjects and challenging courses.鈥疶hey are nominated by faculty each semester and coordinate multiple sessions weekly. ARC-Link tutors serve many different disciplines, from calculus to French to art history. They help you work through assignments, prepare for exams, and work with you to overcome any difficulties along the way.鈥疶heir schedules change every semester. It is shared with the entire 绿巨人视频 community via email at the start of the semester, and it is also posted in the ARC.
THE MATH CLINIC
ARC offers a free drop-in鈥疢ath Clinic鈥痜or students needing additional support at any level. The drop-in clinic is designed to help students further their understanding of topics covered during their classes. The math clinic is also open to students who are not taking a mathematics course but want to continue working on skills such as statistical analysis, excel use, and arithmetic understanding.
The drop-in clinic is available at various times throughout the week in hopes that all students will have the opportunity to work with a tutor.
THE WRITING LAB听
绿巨人视频鈥檚 Writing Lab, located on the 4th floor of the Quai, is at the center of a constellation of academic services. Expert student writers, from all disciplines, provide feedback and support at any stage of the writing process (developing a thesis, organizing an essay, avoiding plagiarism or simply overcoming writer鈥檚 block). Their interactive and collaborative tutoring sessions generally last 30 minutes. You may visit the Writing Lab website or come by the office to pick up useful handouts.鈥疢oreover, special assistance is now available for graduate students writing their theses.听听
