Explore the Ch芒teau of Fontainebleau, nested听within a vast forest and one of the major听sites of the artistic investment of French kings听between 1528 and the building of Versailles.The visit begins by looking at the exterior of听the building and its gardens, while tracking听the passage from a minor medieval hunting听lodge to a sophisticated and daring Renaissance听residence that remained the site of听impressive rebuilding and artistic transformation听into the 19th century.
